2025 Calendar of Events

STEEL SHOOT    

Saturday January 18th 4:00pm-6:00pm
In this double elimination style match, competitors will go head-to-head to see who can knock over all 6 of their targets first.

Prizes will be awarded to three lucky winners!
This competition is for conventional handguns only (revolvers and semi-automatics). AR pistols, short barrel carbines, etc. are not allowed.
Targets are 6 - 8-inch round self-healing targets. Tournament is double elimination, and seeding is blind. Each heat is 30 seconds long and is shot at 35 ft. Each shooter is allowed 15 rounds each heat.
The shooter that knocks over all the targets first wins the round. If all the targets have not been knocked over, the shooter with the most targets knocked over in 30 seconds, wins the rounds. The winner of each heat advances in the winner's bracket. The loser moves to the loser's bracket or is eliminated after their second loss.
Ties will be decided with a 4 target in 20 seconds. Shooters are allowed 10 rounds. Shooters with the most targets knocked over after 20 seconds, wins.
Competitors must store unloaded firearms in provided storage shelfing. Competitors are encouraged to load magazines behind the firing line.
We ask all competitors to show up 30 minutes prior to start time in order to get checked in and bracket placement done.

HOSTAGE BOWLING PIN SHOOT    

Saturday February 22nd 4:00pm-6:00pm
In this double elimination style match, competitors will go head-to-head to see who can shoot all 6 of their bowling pins off the rack first. But don't shoot the hostage pins (black bowling pins) or you will be penalized. Prizes will be awarded to three lucky winners!

This competition is for conventional handguns (revolvers and semi-automatics). AR pistols, short carbines, etc. are not allowed.
Targets are 6 bowling pins placed on a two-level rack.
Two of the bowling pins will have a hostage pin (black bowling pin) placed in front blocking half of the pin. Shooters who shoot the hostage pins off the rack will receive a penalty of a loss of one regular bowling pin. Tournament is double elimination, and seeding is blind. Each heat is 30 seconds long, shooters will be shooting bowling pins at 35 ft.
The shooter that shoots all the regular bowling pins off the rack, wins the round. If all the pins have not been shot off, the shooter with the most pins knocked off in 30 seconds, wins the round. The winner of each heat advances in the winner's bracket.
The loser moves to the loser's bracket or is eliminated after the second loss.
Ties will be decided with a 4-regular bowling pin, 2 hostage pins shoot off. Shooters with the most pins knocked off after 20 seconds, wins.
Competitors must store firearms in provided storage shelving. Competitors are encouraged to load magazines behind the firing line. Competitors are not limited in number of magazines they may have loaded and ready.
We ask competitors to show up 30 minutes prior to shoot start time in order to get checked in and bracket placement done.

PCC SHOOT    

Saturday March 22nd 4:00pm-6:00pm
This competition is double elimination with blind seating. This competition is only for the use of pistol carbine caliber. No sight restrictions.
Shooters will shoot at three paper targets from a standing high-ready position at 30 feet. Set course of fire is 2 shots at left target, 2 shots at center target, 4 shots at right target, then 2 shots at center target, followed by 2 final shots at the left target. (2-2-4-2-2) Shooters using iron sights, red dots, or a scoped reticle will compete in the same division.
The scoring is based on best time per round but can be assessed a time penalty of +0.5 seconds for each shot in the B-Box (USPSA/IPSC target), +1.0 seconds for each shot in the C-Box, +1.5 seconds in the D-Box, and lose the round if a shot misses the targets completely.
The winner of each heat advances in the winner's bracket. The loser moves to the loser's bracket, allowing each competitor to lose twice before being eliminated from the competition.
Competitors must store their unloaded firearms in provided storage shelving. 12 rounds of ammunition are required every round. Competitors are encouraged to load magazine behind firing line.
We ask competitors to show up 30 minutes prior to start time in order to get checked in and bracket placement done.

SPRING LEAGUE     

Tuesday April 1st- Tuesday May 6th
3:00pm-4:00pm, 5:00pm-6:00pm, and 6:00pm-7:00pm
Have some friendly, fun, competition in our Spring League! This league is all about FUN! This league will be very similar to our winter league. Spring League will be .22 rimfire handguns (no laser sights).
Spring League will last 6 weeks and will have two different time slots. Three different time groups 3:00pm-4:00pm, 5:00pm-6:00pm, and 6:00pm-7:00pm. Each week league will be shot at different yardages example: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 yards. Each week the target will change along with the course of fire.
Total of 60 rounds each week.
Cost of Spring League is $75.00 per person plus tax. The top three highest scores at the end of 6 weeks will win either a $85.00, $60.00, or $35.00 gift certificate to Flint River Indoor Shooting Range. Stop in to sign up or contact us at (319) 209-2490.
